Terms of Use

The operating and contractual rules that apply when you use the TasheelExpress website, request a quote or commission language services.

Last updated: September 3, 2026Version 58.4

Acceptance and scope

These Terms govern use of the public TasheelExpress website, quote and contact forms, customer-facing online services, and language-service work ordered through an accepted quote, purchase order or separate service agreement. By using the website or submitting a request, you agree to these Terms to the extent they apply. A separately signed agreement, accepted proposal or purchase order may add to or override these website Terms for a particular project.

Definitions

“Client” means the person or organization requesting or purchasing services. “Client materials” means documents, text, media, terminology, instructions and other content supplied for processing. “Deliverables” means translated, localized, reviewed, interpreted, formatted or otherwise agreed output. “Services” includes translation, localization, interpreting, review, linguistic quality assurance and related language work that TasheelExpress agrees to provide.

Eligibility and accounts

You must have authority to submit materials and, when acting for an organization, authority to request services on its behalf. Account credentials must be kept confidential. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless you promptly report suspected compromise. We may require additional verification before allowing access to sensitive project information.

Quotes, orders and project confirmation

A website estimate or automated analysis is indicative unless expressly stated otherwise. A project becomes binding when scope, price, languages, delivery requirements and other material conditions are accepted through a quote, purchase order, written confirmation or applicable service agreement. If source files change after confirmation, timing and price may also change.

Client instructions and source materials

The Client should supply the latest authoritative source, intended use, destination market, required language variants, reference terminology and any authority-specific requirements. TasheelExpress may ask questions where instructions are ambiguous. We are not responsible for inaccuracies caused by illegible, incomplete, incorrect or superseded source material that was not reasonably identifiable as such.

Uploads and file handling

Files submitted through public forms are subject to extension, file-type, structural, size and integrity checks before they are attached to a request. Hosting infrastructure also performs malware protection on web uploads. Passing an automated check does not guarantee that a file is safe or suitable for every downstream use. Clients should retain their own originals and backups.

Confidentiality

Client materials are handled as confidential project information and are disclosed only as reasonably necessary to provide, review, support, secure or administer the service, subject to applicable law and any additional confidentiality agreement. Highly sensitive projects should be identified at intake so that the appropriate handling and technology restrictions can be agreed before work begins.

Human, AI-assisted and automated workflows

Different content requires different production methods. Machine translation, generative AI, automated quality checks or other tools may be used only where appropriate to the agreed workflow and confidentiality requirements. Business-critical, legal, medical, regulated or otherwise sensitive content may require professional human translation or specialist review. Automated output is not represented as a substitute for professional judgment where such judgment is required.

Professional, certified and sworn translation

Professional translation, certified translation, sworn translation, notarization, legalization and Apostille are different concepts and requirements vary by country, authority, document and intended use. TasheelExpress will describe the service it is agreeing to provide but does not guarantee acceptance by every authority. Clients are responsible for confirming destination-authority requirements unless the agreed scope expressly includes that verification.

Fees, taxes, invoicing and payment

Fees, currency, taxes, payment schedule and payment method are those stated in the accepted commercial terms. Work may be paused where an agreed deposit, invoice or payment milestone is overdue. Bank, card, conversion or intermediary charges not expressly included in the quote remain the responsibility of the party incurring them.

Changes, cancellations and refunds

Requests to change scope or cancel should be made promptly. Charges may apply for work already performed, committed external costs, reserved interpreting time, expedited staffing or non-recoverable production expenses. Refund eligibility, if any, depends on the accepted commercial terms and work completed at the time of cancellation.

Intellectual property

Clients retain rights they hold in their source materials. Rights in final deliverables transfer or are licensed as stated in the applicable commercial agreement and subject to payment of amounts due. TasheelExpress retains ownership of its pre-existing tools, methods, templates, software, processes and general know-how. Translation memories or terminology assets are handled according to the project agreement and should not be assumed to be transferable unless agreed.

Permitted and prohibited use

The website and services may not be used to upload malware, evade security controls, interfere with service availability, obtain unauthorized access, impersonate another person, violate intellectual-property or privacy rights, or request work that is unlawful in the relevant jurisdiction. We may refuse or suspend requests that create material legal, security or abuse risk.

Third-party services and integrations

Some projects may involve hosting, email, payment, cloud, CAT, AI, conferencing or other third-party services. Their availability and terms may affect the service. We select or configure third-party processing according to the project and security context, but third-party platforms remain subject to their own operational conditions and outages.

Review, acceptance and corrections

Clients should review deliverables within any agreed review period and provide specific feedback against the accepted scope. We will assess reported translation or production issues and correct substantiated errors within the agreed warranty or review framework. Preference changes, new source versions and new requirements are treated separately from errors in the agreed deliverable.

Service availability and warranties

We aim to provide reliable professional services, but the public website and online tools may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, hosting events, security incidents or circumstances outside reasonable control. Except where expressly agreed or required by law, services are provided without implied guarantees that exceed the accepted project specification.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, liability is limited to direct loss reasonably arising from a proven breach of the agreed service and is subject to any liability cap stated in the applicable quote or service agreement. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. The Client remains responsible for final business, legal, clinical, regulatory, publication or filing decisions unless the contracted scope expressly assigns a particular responsibility to TasheelExpress.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, a Client is responsible for claims arising from materials it had no right to submit, unlawful instructions, or misuse of deliverables outside the agreed purpose. This clause does not shift responsibility for TasheelExpress’s own proven breach of its obligations.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend access or production for material non-payment, security abuse, unlawful use, repeated breach, or circumstances that make safe or lawful performance impracticable. Termination does not remove payment obligations for properly performed work or accrued rights that are intended to survive.

Governing terms and disputes

The governing law, forum and dispute procedure for paid services are those stated in the accepted proposal, purchase order or service agreement where specified. Mandatory consumer, employment, data-protection or other rights that cannot legally be waived continue to apply. Before formal proceedings, the parties should attempt in good faith to resolve project disputes through documented review and escalation.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when services, law, security practices or website functions change. The current version is published on this page with a last-updated date. Material project terms already accepted are not retroactively changed by a website update unless the parties agree or applicable law requires it.

Contact

Questions about these Terms, an active project or a contractual issue can be sent through the TasheelExpress contact page. For a live project, include the project or quote reference so the request can be routed without exposing confidential information in a public channel.

This version replaces earlier website versions. Project-specific terms already accepted in a quote, purchase order or service agreement continue to govern that project.
